We're back for Trailer Park Podcast 92! Join Daniel, Nathan, Chelsea, Amanda and the Intern for our annual Christmas episode where we deliberate and declare the Ultimate Trailer Park Podcast lineup for 2017. Our Headliner comes to us from a galaxy far, far away as Star Wars: The Last Jedi arrives to devastate the December box office. Downsizing is in the 2 hole and stars Matt Damon as a guy who gets small in Alexander Payne's latest offering. The fulcrum of 92 is the ultimate "slay" ride, Once Upon a Time at Christmas. In the 4 spot is Bright starring Will Smith and Joel Edgerton in a fantasy cop buddy drama comedy thing from Netflix. The five hole brings us the swan song of Daniel Day Lewis as he teams up once again with writer/director Paul Thomas Anderson in Phantom Thread before riding off into the sunset to retire with his satchel full of Oscars. Stick around for the Roundtable and the Intern Archive Update.

Trailer Park Podcast #91

Join Daniel, Nathan, Chelsea, The Intern and Amanda for the first 20 minutes of Trailer Park Podcast 91! We discuss making choices that could change your life forever as the much anticipated Del Toro film, The Shape of Water headlines episode 91. Molly's Game is on deck and Jessica Chastain appears to be playing a fast talking, no nonsense, self righteous woman in a man's world. The theme of episode 91 is cleaning up our act and making amends and all the money in the world can't put a horror movie back in episode 90 so naturally a double fulcrum is called for. Radius and Attack of the Killer Donuts tag team us in the 3 hole. Radius is the story of a man with amnesia who cannot have anyone come within 50 feet of him or they will die. Attack of the Killer Donuts is about Killer Donuts. I, Tonya is our fifth trailer in the 4 slot and is based on the true story of the figure skating scandal involving Tonya Harding. There is a lot riding on this one as both Chelsea and Daniel have decreed that if the movie doesn't deliver they will never say they are excited about a biopic ever again. The finale for episode 91 stars Dwayne, hard as a rock Johnson in the Jumanji reboot and this time we are talking video instead of board game and body transference. Stick around for the Burden List and the Intern Archive Update.

Trailer Park Podcast #90

Join Daniel, Nathan, Chelsea, Amanda and the Intern for Trailer Park Podcast 90! In this episode we unite in the name of justice to assemble a league of worry over the pending cinematic war against the evil Steppenwolf (the DC character Steppenwolf and not the rock band). The Disaster Artist stars the Franco's and friends and is a biopic about the making of one of the worst movies ever made, The Room. If any of you are unaware, we here at TPP become emotionally charged whenever there is a movie within a movie happening. In an unprecedented move, the fulcrum has been authorized to stray from the horror genre in episode 90 to address the recasting and erasure of Kevin Spacey from All the Money in the World so naturally we need to watch this trailer before it undergoes the Plummer transformation. Ethan Hawke delivers yet another barbaric yawp in the new action movie 24 hours to live which is obviously being wickfluenced and looks to be over the top in a hopefully satisfying way (see the death timer sewn into the skin on his arm). Finally, the Agatha Christie classic Murder on the Orient Express gets a redo with Kenneth Branagh leading an impressive cast into one of the greatest mysteries of all time. Stick around for the Burden List and the Intern Archive Update.

Trailer Park Podcast #89

Join Nathan, Daniel, Amanda and the Intern for Trailer Park Podcast 89! The Marvel machine marches onward as Thor presents the 3rd installment in his personal trilogy. Ragnarok in Norse Mythology signifies the end of a cycle, an Armageddon or Revelations of sorts where Thor dies fighting and defeating his greatest enemy but let's face it, Infinity War awaits and it's not likely that Hemsworth will get rubbed out this early. Speaking of rubbing one out, the writer/director of the now Gyllenhaal classic film Nightcrawler returns with Denzel Washington in Roman J. Israel, esquire about an activist lawyer tired of doing the impossible for the ungrateful. The fulcrum of episode 89 is The Killing of a Sacred Deer and Nicole Kidman and Colin Farrell appear to be getting better with age in this ominous and creepy film. The 4th entry in the 89 lineup is the winner of the 2017 Palme D'or at Cannes and is called The Square. The quoting persuasion suggests it is not your normal Palme D'or winner and looks to be mocking the pretentious art world which is perfect because the Intern won't even realize it's making fun of him. Finally, we check out Suburbicon and although the trailer is presenting itself as a comedy it is not being classified as one which means they are lying to us and something is wrong. Stick around for the Burden List and the Intern Archive Update.

Trailer Park Podcast #88

Join Daniel, Nathan, Amanda and The Intern for Trailer Park Podcast 88! Episode 88 is also our annual Halloween episode where the entire lineup is comprised of horror films. We take a look at the (Amanda's fetish involving Asian men) new Steven Yeun film about an office building filled with people being taken over by a violent disease. Our 2nd trailer (sounds like something the Intern would do) is a tad more obscure and deals with bringing your sibling back to life 30 years after they are dead and potentially having sex with them. The Endless is the fulcrum's fulcrum for TPP 88 and it is currently touring the festival circuit, it is also the same guys behind Spring which we did on TPP 23. Marrowbone looks like a slow burn toward a solid finish and also stars strong performers from both The Witch and Captain Fantastic. Tragedy Girls is a comedy horror and when you put those two together you better bring it and there is something smelling about this one that we can't quite put our finger on.  Stick around for the Burden List and the Intern Archive Update.

Trailer Park Podcast #87

Join Nathan, Daniel, Chelsea, The Intern and special guest Luigi for Trailer Park Podcast 87! Our headliner Geostorm looks to crown itself as the King of all natural disaster movies. Not only does it appear to pack a satisfying wallop of dazzling futuristic technology, it also doesn't discriminate against any of the many natural disasters the world has to offer. You would think that throwing in the whisper of an evil villain at the controls would table a unanimous excited but we like to keep you guessing here at Trailer Park Podcast. The Death of Stalin delivers a real sexy Buscemi of British  accents and Russian politics. Happy Death Day finally brings together the horror genre with the groundhog day subgenre and anyone who says worried will be magically transported to the day after the edge of tomorrow. All I See is You looks like a lively drama about a blind woman who regains her sight and finds out that she is smoking hot and her husband is not, she also travels in a wig and decides to learn Thai. The Snowman is our final trailer and depicts a sinister serial killer who builds snowmen and might be Scandinavian, the trailer doesn't contain any but we're holding out for some kulning. Bastards, father figures and fast family feuds and don't forget to stick around for the Burden List and the Intern Archive Update.

Trailer Park Podcast #86

Click on the poster if you want to watch the trailer!

Join Daniel, Nathan, Chelsea, Amanda and the Intern for Trailer Park Podcast 86! Our headliner is the highly anticipated Blade Runner sequel directed by Denis Villeneuve and starring Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford. There may be reasons to be worried about it but you won't find any on this podcast, the excitement will slow zoom toward you and replicate. The 2nd trailer in our lineup is called Super Dark Times which is an awesome and slightly uncomfortable title given that the movie is about teenagers. The fulcrum is the 2017 remake of Flatliners with Ellen Page taking the lead and it looks like there is a slim chance they chose to do something new with this idea and there is a strong possibility this one could fall "flat" at the box office and "die". The 4th trailer stars Vince Vaughn and comes to us from the writer/director of Bone Tomahawk and that movie has a lot of clout with the gang at TPP so we're on board even if it is called Brawl in Cell Block 99. The lineup comes to a close with American Made starring Tom Cruise and it is directed by Edge of Tomorrow and Bourne Identity director Doug Liman. It looks like Doug and Tom may have a bit of bromance going on with Live Die Repeat and Repeat just around the corner and speaking of things that repeat didn't Johnny Depp already make this movie? Stick around for the Burden List and the Intern Archive Update.

Trailer Park Podcast #85

Join Nathan, Daniel, Amanda, Ivan and the Intern for Trailer Park Podcast 85! We dry clean our suits and brush up on our gentlemen etiquette as the Kingsmen arrive to headline our own little golden circle. Battle of the Sexes looks to hold serve by putting the show back in chauvinist. Aronofsky's Mother! has finally arrived and has us all buzzing about a horror film that might actually be worth watching. Our fourth trailer is the first ever movie done using oil paint and although the visuals are unique, it's going to take more than a starry night to keep us Loving Vincent. Rounding out the lineup is Jake Gyllenhaal in Stronger and I think we all feel that way after drinking in the potential of this film. Be warned though that the crushing and touching drama portrayed in the trailer may be lost on people who are insensitive. Stick around for the Burden List and the Intern Archive Update.

Trailer Park Podcast: The Lost Trailers #9

Click on the poster if you want to watch the trailer!

Join Daniel, Nathan and the Intern for the Lost Trailers #9 on Trailer Park Podcast. The Lost Trailers series has taken a back seat recently and this episode is being brought out from the archives somewhat as it was recorded a while ago. Don't worry though, the same quality and execution you are accustomed to will not be betrayed. We check out some interesting movies for our 9th edition that got lost after they were released. Antibirth stars Natasha Lyonne and Chloe Sevigny and appears to be going for an alien immaculate conception kind of thing. Dark Night is an uncomfortable recreation of the theatre shooting in Aurora, Colorado and we discuss the merit of going near this material so soon after the tragedy occurred. The Lure is a foreign film from Poland about mermaids being adopted into a cabaret; oh and it's a horror movie and they are bloodthirsty mermaids. Mean Dreams was one of the last films in Bill Paxton's career before he died so suddenly and unfairly, the scene stealing every man looks to be at his creepy best in this thriller about abuse, desperation and young love. Opening Night stars Topher Grace as a production manager trying to keep his stage show on track as the cast of characters look to unravel it. Stick around for the round table and the Rotten Tomato game.

Trailer Park Podcast #84

Click on the poster if you want to watch the trailer!

Join Daniel, Nathan, Amanda, Chelsea and the Intern for Trailer Park Podcast 84! We go west with Ingrid and get some insight into what the Intern does in his spare time. Patti Cake$ looks like a female reboot of 8 mile only this actress might get more acting work after this than that other guy did. Finally the updated version of Stephen King's It has arrived and parades around in front of us as the fulcrum of TPP 84 in makeup and sexy clown gear. Drama lovers unit as Brie Larson, Woody Harrelson and Naomi Watts turn up the sadness and resentment in The Glass Castle. The Hitman's Bodyguard rounds out the lineup and looks like a classic "fooled by the trailer" disappointment but there is faith that Ryan Reynolds, Samuel L Jackson and Gary Oldman can make anything watchable. Stick around for the Burden List and the Intern Archive Update.

Trailer Park Podcast #83

Join us for Trailer Park Podcast 83! Nathan, Daniel, Chelsea, Amanda, Ivan and The Intern sail to the shores of the front line to bring this lineup home. Charlize Theron headlines the episode with Atomic Blonde and also because she has made Nathan's F.L.A.T.T list. The writer of Sicario and Hell or High Water has written and directed a movie called Wind River so naturally, even though it is receiving critical acclaim, everyone should act like it's going to be boring just to antagonize specific people. Another Wolfcop is the fulcrum because it's about god damn time we had some fun with it to see if we can escape the monotonous droning and disappointment from specific people. Dunkirk is the fourth trailer and will probably win academy awards because Christopher Nolan can do no wrong and this is his war movie. The Dark Tower has finally arrived and with all things that involve Stephen King you should bring a dictionary with you and temper your expectations. Stick around for the Burden List and the Intern Archive Update.

Join Chelsea, Nathan, Amanda, Daniel and the Intern for Trailer Park Podcast 82! We check out the final entry in the Caesar trilogy with War for the Planet of the Apes and the Intern gets excited enough to poop in his hands and fling it around the room. Lady Macbeth is a movie inspired by the Shakespearean "fictional" character about a scheming, evil woman. Death Note is the fulcrum for TPP 82 but will it serenade Daniel like a siren of horror or fall on deaf ears? Spiderman Homecoming appears to be playing on words with the whole reboot and prom thing and there is only one thing that Chelsea loves more than wordplay, and that's Spiderman. Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets rounds out the lineup and looks so good it could have been the headliner! Stick around for the Burden List and the Intern Archive Update.

Trailer Park Podcast #81

Click on the poster if you want to watch the trailer!

Join Daniel, Amanda, Nathan, Chelsea and The Intern for Trailer Park Podcast 81! We explore the world of Baby Driver and music being choreographed with action sequences. The House could be another movie that only Daniel and Amanda like and everyone else doesn't. The fulcrum is not a horror movie but it is horrifying, will Daniel still feel meh? Okja stars Jake Gyllenhaal and that's honestly all you really need to know. The Little Hours has filthy nuns and righteous priests so it is kind of like reality looking in the mirror no? Stick around for the Burden List and the Intern Archive Update.

Trailer Park Podcast #80

Join us for Trailer Park Podcast 80 as we welcome some new blood. Nathan, Daniel, Amanda, The Intern and honored guest Cordell weigh in on the reboot of The Mummy starring everyone's favorite Operating Thetan Tom Cruise and the launch of the Dark Cinematic Universe. The Bad Batch could be an alternate name for the cast of Trailer Park Podcast but it is also a movie about a dystopian cannibal cult and Keanu Reeves appears to be leading it while sporting a mustache and wearing a housecoat. The fulcrum is called Replace as in replacing... your skin; with other people's skin. Rough Night looks like an all female reboot of Very Bad Things and could be a very good thing. Finally, The Beguiled rounds out the lineup and is a second attempt to adapt the novel by Thomas Cullinan about a wounded soldier that is taken in by a group of women and it leads to an "unexpected turn of events" which we interpret as "how much action does he get and how much does it cost him". Stick around for the Burden List and the Intern Archive Update.

Trailer Park Podcast #79

Click on the poster if you want to watch the trailer!

Join us for Trailer Park Podcast 79! Amanda, Chelsea, Nathan, Daniel and the Intern debate the merits of the DC smear campaign conspiracy and whether Wonder Woman will finally lasso the truth. Will Baywatch suck? Will we still like it anyway? It Comes at Night might sound like it's describing the inappropriate behavior of an exhibitionist but it's actually the fulcrum and it looks terrifying. Can you imagine walking out on your life and vanishing? Wakefield can and it looks fascinating. Brad Pitt and Netflix bring us War Machine and it looks like it's bringing some much needed levity to the genre. Stick around for the Burden List and the Intern Archive Update.

Trailer Park Podcast #78

Click on the poster if you want to watch the trailer!

Join the gang for Trailer Park Podcast #78! We know it's been said before and it may or may not have been true but this episode could be the greatest lineup we've ever done. We check out the Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2.  Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri starring Frances Mcdormand, Woody Harrelson and Sam Rockwell slots into the number two slot. The fulcrum is basically a headliner on its own in Alien Covenant. Mindhorn can see truth and is releasing in the UK first with follow up distribution on Netflix. Our final trailer stars Tom Hanks and Daniel's favorite actress, Emma Watson. Don't forget to stick around for the Burden List and the Intern Archive Update.

Trailer Park Podcast #77

Join us for Trailer Park Podcast 77 and discover the fate of our family. Chelsea, Nathan, Daniel, Amanda and The Intern make haste and furiously discuss the 8th installment in the mighty street racing franchise that has somehow become a satisfying blockbuster action cheese fest raking in billions of dollars. Free Fire is a 90 minute gun fight in a warehouse and it doesn't look like it's capable of passing the bechdel test even though Brie Larson is "marvel"ous. The Void is our fulcrum and it hints at some satisfying execution. Colossal comes to us from the director of Time Crimes and produced some mixed reactions that may or may not come back to bite certain people in the ass. The Lost City of Z rounds out the lineup and appears to have promise that is pregnant with hesitation and reservation, don't want to get too excited because these movies have a habit of disappointment. Don't forget to stick around for the Burden List and the Intern Archive Update.
